For many Ram owners, the hot and sticky dog days of summer mean one thing—time to hitch up the boat, the jet skis, or the camper and head out to the lake or woods in search of cooler weather. As fun as that may be, Ram wants to make sure our drivers are towing with confidence and hauling loads as safely as they can.
We’ve mentioned it before, but since summer is peak towing season, we thought now would be a good time to redirect RamZone readers to the Towing Guide on RamTrucks.com. Readers take note: By using this guide, future Ram owners can pick out the truck with the right max payload to meet their towing needs. There is also a glossary of basic towing terms, which, if you’re new to towing, will help you speak the language with the other drivers at the boat launch.
Even if you’re an old pro with years of towing experience, our guide is a great source for information that you can use to supplement your current know-how. Common cargo weights, accurate towing specs—these are just samples of the information available in the Towing Guide at RamTrucks.com.
