Though Greg H. and Chuck G. teamed up to buy an older rig, their 1997 Ram truck seems to have no trouble pulling its weight or, for that matter, plowing through snow. Their story, coming to us all the way from Grandbend, Ontario, Canada, is this week’s edition of Real People, Real Trucks.
This is our first Ram truck, a retired farm workhorse with two owners before us. The first owner bought her in February 1997, one month after rolling off the assembly line new. Then a cattle farmer bought her, and now we own her. We couldn’t be happier with the 5.9L diesel engine. She plows through two feet of snow and ice like nothing. We are also looking to purchase our next Ram Truck to add to our fleet.
Thanks for sharing your story, Greg and Chuck. With regard to your next rig, might we suggest something from the Ram Trucks Heavy Duty lineup? The winter capabilities of our trucks in this category are particularly impressive.
